We understand how terrifying it is to blow at a candle and have hot wax splash back! Each diffuser is powered by a small nightlight bulb (1.5w bulbs are recommended for even heating). The entire unit is very low powered and has a simple construction. If the light doesn't turn on, switch out the bulb. Simple as that!  Directions: 1. Remove from packaging 2. Install light bulb (no more than 7.5w incandescent bulb recommended)3. Plug-in4. Switch on 5. Add your favorite wax/oils.6. ENJOY!
